We are very pleased to have clinician Seth Turner’s experience and training to share with SVS – Living Safe’s family violence clients. His credentials as a psychotherapist allow him to work with
people who are dealing with complex mental health issues: he’s a member of the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ), and the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists (NZAP).
He, along with a few of our clinicians, offers long-term care for conditions resulting from complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
In New Zealand, people who have significant level of therapeutic need only have two avenues of support: through ACC sensitive claims or private therapy. Having Seth on staff at SVS – Living Safe
means clients who can access our service can receive Seth’s help within our payment structure, which for most people is free. All they need is the commitment and courage for change.
Seth is also available to help clients with psycho education and counselling for short-term solutions. Seth works with both men and women as well as working with adolescents.
